Derby is located in the Northern Parts of WA, north of Broome in the Kimberly Region. The waterways and creeks surrounding the area are present awesome barramundi fishing. Along with barra you can expect to catch, salmon, jacks, trevally and more. The region offers a challenging but exciting fishing opportunity. The area is best fished in the company of an experienced fishing charter or guide due to the extremities of the tidal conditions.  Derby has the largest tide movements in Australia with a difference of approx. 12m between high and low tide.
